Large pitches and close to Alton Towers. Reasonable toilet/ shower facilities, but across a car park to get to them. The pub food was great and the team were very friendly.

The site is very near the road, so quite a lot of road noise. The toilets and shower block were across the pub car park, so possibly not ideal for younger children.

Shower/toilet block is quite small but was clean throughout our stay.

Always has spots available. Close to home and pub for warm meals. Cheap and always clean.

Only two washing sinks. Close to main road which is often used like a race track.

Not a dislike but a canopy over the wash up area, especially with the wet weather this week, but have been lovely.

Friendly owner, John was always about to help out or answer questions.

accessibility, being disabled, the shower block had a wet room - a walk-in shower and accessible toilet. can't ask for more than that.

pub, central to the site, we had sunday carvery and a few breakfasts. Delicious and good value.

The people were very friendly and welcoming. The site is located close to Alton Towers and the stunning countryside.

The kitchen / washing up area is a sink attached to the back of a pub. It is open to the elements so if you are in a tent and its raining your are getting wet. The toilets and showers are via a portable unit which I assume is taken away at the end of the season. There is no freezer for your ice packs despite the description on the website. The campsite is the pubs overflow car park situated next to a main road. They do give you earplugs on arrival though.

The play area was fabulous for the age of our children. Also, food and drinks in the pub on site were great value. Showers and toilets kept clean too.

Little bit noisy by the road but we’re given ear plugs by the hosts which really helped
