Great campsite, we ended up in the smaller field as the bigger one was water logged. The disable toilet was lovely and warm we were advised to use it for the little one due to the warmth. It was really clean as well and John was out cleaning and checking the toilets the next day. The staff in the pub were lovely and very welcoming. John was lovely always checking we were ok, he gave us free ear plugs at check in. The pubs on the main road and the field is to the side/back. I wouldn’t say it was that the road was that loud but I did still use the ear plugs and slept great.
15 minute drive to Alton towers was perfect for us. Great value for a family.

Due to the larger field being water logged we couldn’t get the car into the smaller field so it did make it a bit harder unpacking and packing up the next morning.

Nice 2 night stay, great dog friendly pub on site with fabulous food. Nice clean facilities.

The new broom pub was an added bonus ! You cannot fault the landlord and staff , very friendly and nothing was too much trouble
Really nice food and the best carvery we have ever had !! Loved loved loved it and will definitely come back

What a lovely little site. Clean, tidy and quiet. Management and staff were excellent, food in the pub was amazing 👏🏼 we will definitely be back!! Good location for Alton towers visit too.

Amazing lot! The pub was lovely and had good food options, good pub classics. The staff were nice and welcoming and there were no issues with the camping facilities.

Exceptionally Friendly And Welcomeing staff, great food and the pub does breakfast in a morning so why bother cooking in your van when you can get a breakfast and tea or coffee with toast for less than £9 per person? Bargain! The hard standing pitches are a little tight to turn onto so take your time upon approach. Would definitely return!

The shower and toilet facilities are clean but basic... It's an ideal site for an overnight stop or 2 nights but not for a week... The pub is limited in what it can offer but it more than makes up for it from the friendly staff and great food.

We came to this site as we were visiting Alton Towers over the weekend with friends. We all loved the site, very clean and well kept. Staff were also very helpful and friendly.
