Potentially peaceful environment around 5 lakes. Coots, moorhens and ducks were lovely.

The site is open to the public and facilitates match days, so the site gets very busy.
There is a big car park at the entrance but public users park around the lakes wherever they can find a space including right in front of campers caravans.
The camp facilities are minimal- 1 shower each for both ladies/gentlemen and although they’re given a wipe down they are in need of a thorough clean.

The view, dog walk, fishing, Tim, Karen etc are always helpful and keep the site in good order

This week anglers were parking on the caravan pitches instead of using the anglers car park, it didn’t worry us because on pitch 2 we couldn’t see them but a couple of other people moaned that they had the look at cars and vans on the lake which is why they paid extra

Noise from behind the site.

The site is very well maintained and although its primary focus is as a fishery you can see the hard work that has been put into the caravan amenities. Plenty of water taps available and electric hook up almost at every pitch. Bins everywhere and not over flowing are simple things that a lot of sites get very wrong. The fishing lakes are fabulous and well stocked for day ticket users or the more serious fishermen.

yes, I like the pitch. The amenities was very good and clean. Fishing was a bit hard but nice and quiet. Quite easy to get to the pitch and hook up nice site.

wasn’t very happy with the Fishing as I found it quite hard to catch any fish. Also I think you should check some of your campers as we had a foreign man and his wife stop in the pitch next door at one to us. We was on number four, he had his music playing loud and just make quite a bit of noise when he first got there which I mentioned to him and he quietened it down a bit.

A great site, very peaceful and a lovely walk around the lakes.

Toilet block a bit tired and was busy when the site was full over the BH weekend.

Lovely grounds and generous pitch, good location and friendly people. Helpful owners.

Toilets and showers not adequate for the size of the site. Often queues for the one ladies shower and toilets not the cleanest.
