Our position on the Cardigan Bay coastline mean we can take full advantage of the amazing sunsets.
Apologies again for the swimming pool not being quite ready for your stay, now it is all up and running and open until after the October half term, so plenty of opportunity to re book and make use of the full list of facilities next time.

We came late and was greeted by a friendly man who showed us to our pitch. We only stopped two nights and it was quiet there at the time, kids really enjoyed it, the park was great Very well done, the walk down to the beach was great, the shower and toilet blocks were great, the games room was great to just chill our and the kids enjoyed playing the games, might have been nice to have this room heated though. Will certainly consider returning!
No me gustó: We booked with the hope to use the heated outdoor pool. Unfortunately it was broken and awaiting a part, I saw a post on Facebook about a month ago with that it had broken. Would have thought being the easter holidays it could have been fixed. I understand it was very quiet and I expect the pool is very costly to run, maybe just have it open for couple of hours then rather than 10.30-5pm. We've had this before places lieing about boilers being broken because of the cost to run. I think if we were staying longer it would have made a big negative for us but we still really enjoyed it and would return!
If you're booking to use the heated outdoor pool like we were maybe ring and check it's working before booking.

Our outdoor heated pool has been a major part of our facilities for a good many years with he addition of the enclosure to lengthen the season significantly.
We opened the pool on the 22nd March with no heater, due to finding the actual fault the only pool boiler engineer in this area has struggled, the water has risen in temperature with the cover and enclosure from 11' to 22', still uncomfortable but unfortunate.
Definitely not a cost saving exercise as along with the camping pitches we have had to cancel due to the condition of the ground and the customers who have not booked due to the heater not working it has definitely not been a money saver.
Hoping we get a replacement boiler installed this week, fingers crossed.
We will be back for sure!

To note the lanes to access the site are narrow so be mindful to stick to the times. The staff there were friendly and helpful, they have a small shop in reception with basic things you might need- we picked up some milk once arrived. The games room was a nice extra too.
Shower and toilet facilities do need updating which i think the site are planning this year- but the current ones are immaculately kept and showers were hot.
Beach was 2 min walk down some steps and coastal path can be accessed just off the site entrance driveway/lane. Location was excellent really 10 min drive back into Aberystwyth- but the site itself gives some lovely views.No me gustó: Outdoor heated pool unfortunately wasnt working they were waiting on a new heater. So pool was very cold and the children didnt get to use it. Shame as we booked the site hoping the pool would be an option for the children on the rainy days.
