Traducir (A través del Traductor Google)Me gustó: We have absolutely loved our first trip to Morfa Bychan Holiday Park, the views are absolutely phenomenal and the site was absolutely beautiful, I have 3 young children, aged 2, 4 and 8 and they loved spending the majority of our stay in the pirate ship park. The swimming pool was also lots of fun for all 3 of them. Our trip to the pebble beach was beautiful too with hours spent exploring the snails, shrimp and pebble shapes.
The site and the facilities were absolutely immaculate and are kept consistently at a high standard and the staff and really friendly, informative and helpful.
All in all a perfect first impression and a brilliant weekend spent, we will definitely be returning.No me gustó: –

Kids loved the freedom. Pool was fantastic, games room was great. Staff very friendly and helpful. Didn’t need to leave the site as the kids were fully entertained all week. Definitely a site we will return to.
No me gustó: No cash machine. Was the only reason we needed to leave the site as games room is cash only
Pitch was a good size. All facilities were cleaned regularly.

No me gustó: Unfortunately we weren't able to book a Kestrel pitch as I had the previous 2 years as they are now only for tourers. It was disappointing to see them empty for most of our stay. It would be good if they were allocated on first to book for camping and tourers.

As you have noticed we have reduced the amount of tents we have on the park due mainly to the poor weather for tents.
Our Kestrel Fully serviced campervan pitches are ideal for campervans, touring caravans and motorhomes.
We are hopeful of introducing some new hardstanding pitches over winter which would be suitable for tents to also use, we find that the grass tent pitches are easily damaged by none breathable groundsheets so the four we have already are the only four looking a little tired very soon into the season.

Really friendly and helpful staff, site views are stunning.
Very narrow road for a few miles to the site ,luckily we didn’t meet on coming traffic , reversing a Motorhome or caravan not for the faint hearted !! Food wagon came on 2 nights , good value , choices and quality was lovely.No me gustó: The long narrow lane and dated Shower block , one is being sorted and not a lot you can go with the road !!

So glad that we met all expectations even not meeting on the narrow access lane as we expect, as long as the arrival times and departure times with the access instructions are followwed then the chances of having to reverse are very low.
We are also looking forward to seeing our new washroom block very soon.

The play park was fab, well thought out design.
The pool was a great addition to our stay, kids loved it- big size, warm as well. (Kids are 10&8)Great access to the coastal path- we hiked to and from Aberystwyth for a day. (Bit blowy at the top) Our pooch very much enjoyed it. We also enjoyed the pebble beach- hunting for sea shells.
They have a dog exercising area with tennis balls and throwers. Benches are super comfy!
Toilets and showers although the decor was outdated- it really doesn’t affect the use- warm powerful showers- in the womens were spacious and easy to use.
The washing machine facility another great addition- if you can get in to use them. Always busy.
It isn’t within short walking distance to anything. You will need a vehicle to access shops or attractions.
No me gustó: Although this isn’t a controllable feature for the campsite- the wind levels being on the very edge of the coast and pitch location were quite unnerving. We experienced 60mph winds - and in a campervan was a little scary.
Our side tent got battered after numerous days of strong winds.
So as a note to prospective campers- it does get very windy.Male toilets/facilities: My husband found it tricky to get him and our 8yr old in one as much smaller- the bigger/family one was always occupied. (They have plans to renovate the blocks)
