Traducir (A través del Traductor Google)Me gustó: The toilets and showers were always clean and tidy. The pool was lovely and warm. The gardens and grounds where kept to high standard and beautiful. The playground for our 2 year old kept him occupied for a while at a time and he loved to drive the pirate ship and walk in the tunnel underneath.
We did have to use the off duty number once- due to other guests being slightly loud however the team at the camp site addressed this very swiftly and reinforced their policies on this.
There is an onsite washing machine and tumble dryer and within the shop they sell laundry pods for 50p. This was a godsend of us as we took home barely any washing!
The views are beautiful!!
No me gustó: Some people may find the 2 and half mile drive from the main road up to the camp site a challenge, however we did not.

Swimming pool is lovely
No me gustó: I think people in tents should have the heads up, we are experienced campers. We have never experienced anything like this before, in the earlier hours it was extremely windy.
Our tent is damaged beyond repair from the wind for four hours. It was very scary, we had to wait it out with our tent broken until sun rise at 5 am, it was too windy and very dark to do anything before.
They also have a problem with badgers getting into tents or awnings.
You can't get internet or make phone calls, which would have been handy to know the weather was getting bad in the earlier hours, if only we had internet. They have their internet at a cost. We have stayed in other campsites that offer this for free.
Pitches are on slopes.
Thank you so much for leaving your views after your stay on our Buzzzrd grass pitches in a tent.
It is unfortunate that you were unable to plan your stay taking into account the weather conditions at the time.
We had lots of requests to change dates due to other customers looking and checking prior to setting off, which we were able to do.
Some more experienced campers stayed put and managed with their equipment better than others.
We understand your frustration but ultimately the decision to stay is entirely upon the customer, we have no right to tell anyone whether they are able to stay or not, or whether the park is right for them.
Prior planning and preparation is so important.

The static caravan we stayed in was immaculately clean. Had basics waiting for us like tea coffee milk. All beds made up on arrival with crisp white linen. And the beds were comfortable.
Wifi in the van was a bonus.
Stayed for two nights could have done more.
