The Location is fabulous, lovely views through the trees and just a short walk down a lovely coastal path to the beach. Plenty to explore by foot nearby. The facilities were all clean and regularly looked after, and the hosts all charming and happy to help in any way needed, highly recommended.

The only slight gripe was confusion at the entrance as we often had to wait to get in or out while new arrivals sat in the gate because they had not read their passcode from the welcome email or were asking advice. I am sure this will be resolved, by getting those who need help to wait in the lay-bys either side of the gate. It won’t stop us visiting again as thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful location, peaceful and scenic. Very welcoming hosts. Information board very useful. Pitches clean and level. Basic level of amenities as described but very clean.

Big field with people mainly camping around the edges. Flat in most places. River Meon passes along one edge. Clean portaloos and cold water and sinks with hand soap available. The beautiful village of East Meon is just a few minutes walk away and is stunning. Lots of fire pits.

Well priced.

We avoided the pitches along the edge of the field near the road as passing cars were quite loud. Rest of the field was really peaceful.

Again a fantastic stay in a tranquil part of Hampshire. The road can be a bit noisy at times during the day, but quiet at night. Been a lovely stay - the farmer popped round twice or three times yesterday to check on folks to see if they were ok. Had a walk to East Meon to the pub - very nice.

The tranquility of the field. Wonderful views. The owner was incredibly friendly. Able to choose own spot, each having it's own camp fire. Lovely owner even bought my bag of wood over for me £10 bag that last all night until bed time. Definitely going back.

Nothing to dislike, not for you if you need washing / shower facilities.

It's what it says a basic pop up camp site in a field bordered by a small river with the basic amenities needed and set in a beautiful quiet rural part of Hampshire.
So long as your self sufficient and can go off grid it's a great little place to stay.
No allocated or marked pitches just first come first served. Ground is fairly level and at night totally dark and quiet.
