No me gustó: Have to get there early as you cannot book a designated pitch. Lots of kids running around our tent, tripping on the tent ropes but I know that’s not the site owners fault

Lovely open space. Lots of room to play.No me gustó: Pitches aren't marked out so tents are placed where people put them, sometimes taking up multiple spaces. For us this meant no simple access to an electric hook up. With a disabled child this caused some worries about charging equipment needed every day. Was not aware campsite had extensions which solved the issue.
Excellent site with brilliant and friendly owners / management.

The fire pits you can hire are brilliant.
Owners/managers were really helpful and clearly take pride in their site.
Already planning to book again.No me gustó: Water pressure in showers could have been a bit stronger.
Whilst the shop was really nice and stocked some nice things it doesn't stock the basics/ bare essentials which would be nice.
Thank you for the glowing review... Water pressure is 3 bars so is as powerful as we can get onsite. With regards to the shop we currently don't do anything fresh, if you can give us some feedback as to what you would like to see in the shop then we can adapt as needed. We have spoken to a local farm shop with a view to supplying breakfast hampers.Love the photos you have put on....

Traducir (A través del Traductor Google)Me gustó: Pitches were spacious. You could pitch up anywhere on the touring pitches instead of being given a pitch which may not be suited to our needs. Toilet block was basic but clean and showers were lovely and hot lovely dog walk area which was enclosed and safe to let dogs off the lead
No me gustó: Only downside for us were the toilet main doors banging shut day and night may benefit from a buffer to stop the bang especially if you are right next to the toilets like we were. The electric hook up is only 6 amp so good job we didn’t need our heating on

Thanks for the review. In response:
1. When you say you can pitch anywhere on the touring pitches, I assume you mean that you can pick which of the 7 hardstandings (all next to each other) you want to use, in which case, that's correct.
2. As to the loo doors banging it's the first I've heard of it. 5 min job to adjust the closers now done. All you needed to do was mention it. I'm not allowed to hang around outside toilets anymore (the judge said so) so I wouldn't have known sorry.
3. I'm hesitant to say but it's acually more than 6 amp on the tourer pitches. What we don't want to encourage is power hungry campers as we don't have the infrastructure for that. A1.4kw camping heater or your gas heater would have been fine.
