The site caters for all price ranges with small campings pods to lodges and houses. Lots of activities to do on site and the Boathouse bar and kitchen is a lovely place to relax with a drink as well is offering delicious meals. The site doesn’t feel overcrowded and the staff and really friendly and helpful. The amenities are perfect for those who are in accommodation without toilet or cooking facilities in there unit and were kept clean and tidy.
No me gustó: We stayed in a dome tent which had no toilet or cooking facilities. We took our own camping stove which was ideal for us but I did feel that the toilet facilities were a little bit too far from the dome tents themselves. Only a few minutes walk but as we stayed in a particularly cold April, those late night and early morning toilet runs especially with a little one were a challenge. Would be good to have a couple of toilets only on our side of the site.

No me gustó: Not much option for eating. Onsite restaurant which we ordered takeaway from. Felt it was very pricey for what we got
Hi Claire, Thank you for your review. I am happy you and your family enjoyed the pod and facilities. We are quite rural where we are. There is the boathouse restaurant on our marina and the village of Killin is just 3 miles from the park where there are some lovely little places to eat and drink. Despite our location I do hope we get to welcome you back in the future.

Traducir (A través del Traductor Google)Me gustó: The location and park setting was amazing.We stayed in the small pods which were very cheap but not well maintained.The campers kitchen was excellant to use with a built in fire burner and T.V. We spend our evening in there when it was wet. We had a camp fire outside our pod on the dry night and cooked our tea on it. Fabulous stay.
No me gustó: The pods could do with some maintainence.One of the bulbs were out, the microwave was smoking inside when used therefore we did not use it. One of the slats were missing from the bed to make it into a king size bed. There was only bedding for 2 people despite booking for three. None of this took away from the holiday though as the place was fab.
Hi Marie, Thank you for your review. I am happy to hear you enjoyed the pod and park setting. All lights are checked prior to arrival. The back light is on a dimmer switch beside the back window, apologies if you did not see this and thought there was an issue in the pod, The boards would have also been checked as this is part of the pre arrival check on the pods. We would have been happy to help show you how the boards are to be placed had we known. We do supply a double bedding pack for the pods for 2 people. Guests are required to bring extra bedding if there are more than 2 people staying. We do have an onsite laundry were extra bedding so can be rented from reception if people forget to bring it along with them. I hope my reply has helped with your next stay with us.
