Pitches - Grass in great condition especially considering cars were parked on this. Barriers to separate pitches - generous in size.
Kitchenette area - spacious with everything you would need to cook as well as games and books to use.
Shop - onsite with basic essentials and reasonably priced.
Staff - Friendly and informativeNo me gustó: Bbq's are allowed but you are not allowed a firepit

Thank you for your feedback on your stay, were pleased to hear that you enjoyed the facilities.
We are sorry that you disliked the shop opening hours. To clarify, the campsite shop is open 8:30am - 6:00pm (9 hours) and run by our very hard working wardens every day and does not close for lunch.
There is a Tesco Express and Scot Mid about 5 minutes from the caravan park that remain open until later and a 24 hour Asda in Livingston.
We hope that the shop hours do not affect your choice to stay with us in future.

Great walks for the dog along a canalNo me gustó: Only one washing machine, didn’t get to put a wash on as person before left clothes in machine and felt rude moving them ..

Hot water setting for 15 seconds is not sufficient for a shower. I was forever pressing the button to get more water.

To enjoy the peace and tranquillity that the Edinburgh suburbs that to offer, this does mean being out of town a little, we are sorry to hear that the shops were too far for your liking.
We're sorry to hear that you thought that park was difficult to find. We have roughly 5 brown signs and we send out two emails with comprehensive details on how to get to the park from all routes. If you have any feedback on these directions, please let us know and we can amend them as necessary.
