Traducir (A través del Traductor Google)Me gustó: Friendly and helpful, very clean, excellent facilities (new Nov 2023); we were on electric hookup on grass: large flat pitches each with its own water supply. Kitchen with space to wash up, cook and eat inside, as well as outdoor washing up area. Good dog walking path that links straight to canal tow paths and access to country park. Fishing on the River Almond £5/day or £15 season ticket (short walk from the site).
30 mins drive to the Kelpies and Falkirk Wheel. 30 mins drive to Blackness Castle. All recommended!
Close to Edinburgh tram park and ride. Good access to motorways but quiet and rural (near the airport/flight path but hardly noticeable).
We stayed 5 nights and really enjoyed the area, lots of interesting canal/industrial history.
We went out of season so relatively quiet, also most people seemed to be touring so only staying one or two nights. I imagine it is very busy in school holidays.No me gustó: Limited shop.
