We're sorry to hear that you disliked the lack of shopping opportunities on site, we do have a small shop on site that is open between 8:30am - 6:00pm every day. This sells camping essentials, ready meals, sweeties and daily essentials such as bread, milk and cheese.

No me gustó: It is stated that there is WIFI, but it only works at the reception. Therefore there is no WIFI. Taking a shower is complete torture. The water turns off in 5 seconds. You must turn on the tap again each time. Having stray chickens made me uncomfortable. It wasn't good to see their droppings at my campsite. It is said that there is a family bathroom, but when you look in detail, you can get a key only during working hours and by leaving a £5 deposit at the reception. It seemed like a very weird application to me.

To confirm the free Wifi is available in the camping kitchen area, we're sorry that this was an inconvenience to you.
Please allow me to explain why we have key only access to the family bathroom. As the family bathroom is reserved primarily for young families, we want to ensure that the room is only used by guests who require it. We have already had to replace 6 keys which guests have taken home with them before we charged a deposit. The deposit ensures that we can replace the keys that are taken. The wardens are available between 8:30am - 6:00pm in reception and are on call until 9pm, they would have been more than happy to provide you with a key within these hours.
I hope this clarifies the aspects of Linwater that you did not particularly enjoy. I hope that these points will not stop you from returning as we hope to meet you and your family again in the future.
