Traducir (A través del Traductor Google)Me gustó: Loved the fact it was simple. If you are looking for playgrounds, on site entertainment, shop etc then this is not for you. But if you want a peaceful, dog friendly, child friendly site with just the essentials like an immaculate toilet/shower facility, electric hook up and water then this is your place.
The pitch was spacious and for the first few nights we had it all to ourselves. Pam made daily visits to the pitch to make sure we were ok. My son also loved the daily visit from the cat 🐈⬛ In my opinion this site strikes the right balance between having a peaceful stay in the countryside which is why we love caravanning but also having simple luxuries like free internet, electricity, water and a toilet/washing up facility.
Added bonus is that for any amateur astrophotographers out there this site is a bortle 4 location with great southerly views. Allowed me to photograph some nebulas that I ordinarily cannot photograph from home as I have no view of the south.

Pam is lovely, very attentive and even let us stay an hour or so later than checkout, so out tent had a little time more to dry off after a rainy weekend.
Toilet/shower block is pristine and well stocked / maintained.

Welcoming message & how to get to the pitch with hook ups. Information on with local pubs & restaurants. Allowed BBQs .No me gustó: Noise till after 01:30 am from the lodge grounds, shrieking laughter is not what folk need to hear at that time.
Make sure you have proof of payment, contacted at 07:15 Sun morning saying I had not paid for the pitch. No reply's to messages till 13:55.
Hi there, sorry you didn't leave your name in the review. Pleased that you appreciated the toilet and shower block. Apologies about the noise in the next door property, which is also our business. We do have rules for no noise after 10pm, but sadly, on this occasion the guests let us down and ignored the rules with their antisocial behaviour, which we have addressed with them separately. There are lots of lovely places to visit and lots of wonderful dog walks. Pam and Richard are both lovely friendly people and suggested places to visit. We will definitely be back again.
