The pitches are large, and our hardstanding pitch had grass behind and to the side. The site is also quiet, and the gates are kept locked, giving good security.

The toilets, showers, wash up, and grey waste were all below par. Indeed, in the 4 nights we stayed, they weren't cleaned as far as I could tell, and the shower was definitely not cleaned. Neither was there any provision for self-cleaning - not even a mop and bucket. The elsan point is not really tucked away or protected from the other facilities and play area, and there was no hose to aid rinsing.
The location isn't great, and we didn't find the pub particularly lively or appealing.

Hardstanding and price. Next to pub restaurant.

Mud but weather has been horrendous. Was not told the distance from the electric hook up to the pitch, luckily we had two leads in the caravan. We were the only caravan in there and was put the farthest away!!

Site was clean and tidy, staff were extremely accommodating.
Having a Pub on site was a massive bonus aswell, food was beautiful, the bar staff were amazing with our 2 dogs who were welcomed with open arms nothing was too much trouble.

Showers and bathrooms are a bit tired, but it’s out of season maybe a spring spruce up?

Facilities were in need of replacement? However The Hunters Inn more than made up for this. The food was perfect. Friday night Liver and Onions and Sunday Carvery. Lamb dinner was perfect thank you. Nearly forgot to mention all staff were friendly and helpful throughout our six day stay.

Friendly welcome and quick check in at the adjacent pub. Secure gated site with easy access from main roads. There was a little traffic noise from the road but nothing obtrusive. The toilet/shower block was clean but would benefit from an update. The ladies shower room door didn’t lock and the shower enclosure concertina door was very difficult to close.
Excellent food and service at the pub. Large portions and reasonable prices.
Will definitely return.
