Even on an August bank holiday it didn’t feel overcrowded.
Beautiful walks from the door, great pub at Low Row and the Reeth show on bank holiday Monday.
Only three toilets and no shower but we never had to queue.No me gustó: –

Beautiful villages within walking/driving distance. Great communication with owners throughout. Would definitely stay here again snd certainly recommend this site.

Very clean toilets
Owners exceptionally friendly with great knowledge of the area.
Great for families as they can get up close to the animal's.

There are inquisitive chickens roaming and several animals in the fields to observe. A friendly welcome awaited us and after that we were left alone to enjoy ourselves. There's a lovely walk into Reeth on the opposite side of the river, getting there by following the river from the campsite, to the right as far as the bridge(12 minutes) then crossing, turning left and continuing along lanes and following the Swale way. Wifi is available if you need it, but need to be at the main area to get it

No me gustó: Difficult to find and basic amenities.
Punchbowl pub was basic and food was unavailable as tables had to be pre-booked - staff quite rude and abrupt.
Thanks for sharing your experience with us. We usually send an email with directions but are begining to suspect some of our communications are going into people's spam folders :-(

I am sorry we do only provide basic ameneties and this is reflected in the price.
I will pass your message onto the Punch Bowl Inn, who allways provide a delicious meal but it is very popular and tables do need to be booked in advance.
It's always good to know where we fall down so we have the opportunity to improve. Thank you for taking the time to let us know
