Location suited our break

No electric on arrival and took 1 1/2 hrs for receptionist to attend after the owner had ignored the problem. Managed to sort with the receptionist in the main switch room.
Then had tripped during the night but luckily a contract builder was on site who obtained the switch room key and reset the trip for us.

Quite convenient site.
I have now stayed in 4 and 6 man pods.
Both have the size that relates to the same tent size so 4 man is really 2-3 with not much space and 6 is really no more than 4. You will struggle to get 4 airbeds in comfortably. The 6 also has an integral light switch but the 4 has a lamp so if you use the lamp and the heater theres no spare socket to charge your phone so you need to plan around this.
Pods come with a blind ocer the doors but the 4 also has a small window
I managed to trip a fuse so dont be tempted to plug in more than two things. It’s just annoying because of needing heater and a light and needing to charge a phone.

Still haven’t fixed it so the hand dryers work in the evening and night and no paper towels provided.

This is our fifth time staying at Glebe, and every visit is just as enjoyable as the last. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. We love the cosy pods, peaceful fishing spots, the campfire evenings, and the calm, beautiful surroundings. Every year, we leave feeling refreshed; we can’t wait to come back again!

Low cost of washing machine

I arrived to nobody at reception .I manage to contact somebody on the phone via a telephone number I found on the door and a woman arrived abrupt and seems put out that she made it obvious she was put out by my arrival within the opening times

Nice rural location with clean facilities for everything you need. Generous pitches and good value. Adequate size toilet and shower block. Bonus was the motorhome wading facility where the grey waste was!

Just a bit remote with pub 1.5 miles away (Butchers Arms) but good fayre.

Site was nice. Facilities were clean and modern. Staff were friendly and helpful.
When we arrived we were sited near to road. We asked if we could be moved to a quieter pitch and they accomadated us with no issues. Will defo be back.

Great little campsite , lovely and helpful warden , clean showers and toilets

The hose for the drinking water was too long which means it’s resting on the ground , luckily I brought my own hose.
The door for the toilet/showers seemed to be always propped open which meant it was always cold not good when you want a shower

A lovely site with good facilities. Very nice place to walk the dog. We enjoyed our time here.

Only negative we can think of is the light in the toilets/showers doesn’t stay on very long. On a cloudy day you get left in the dark when in the toilet/shower.
