My sister was able to take our gate pass and direct us to our pitch as we arrived late because of traffic. I’m not sure what would’ve happened if we hadn’t known anyone already on site.No me gustó: Be aware that they do not sell camping gas on site, and looked puzzled when asked for it. In the ladies the hand dryer didn’t work in the evenings and the remote sensor for the lights can’t be triggered while on the loo. This meant the lights often went off and you have to sit in the dark.

We always try our best to accommodate arrivals the best way we can and when a delay is cause we have different ways of working around the check in times.
I spoke to the team in regards to the Gas issue, I believe you had spoken to a cleaning team member. We do have a notice on our board with local places to access Gas.

Okay as a stop over but not a longer stayNo me gustó: Hard standing pitch with grass wasn’t great - looked like you'd expect it to at the end of season, not the start.
The grass pitches on the other field looked much better.
Seemed to be a stay over for workers which was off putting for me on holiday.

I am not sure what you mean by end of season but please do email and let us know the issues, we can then make the pitches better.
We do not allow workers especially in high season.

No me gustó: We were pitched on what looked like a car park. It was just chippins with nothing to mark out pitches. Also if you were not in the shower by 8.30 all the hot water had gone and you had to have a cold shower. There was no drying area in the shower either.

No me gustó: Toilets/showers are dirty. The whole place seems rundown. We booked a fully serviced hardstanding pitch which was actually pea gravel almost like sand ! Very dusty. They seem to let people pitch where they liked and all pitches are very close together
We are sorry to hear your stay was not up to standard, Only staff can allocate pitches. When not hap[y with your pitch, we will always try to move you.

No me gustó: Small gripe - great to have a coffee and hot drinks machine in reception but please fill it up. Paid £1.50 for a hot chocolate but just got hot water as no hot chocolate powder in machine. Cappuccino was fine though.
