Lovely peaceful site. Neil and Julie were friendly and very helpful. Toilets were spotless and grounds were well kept. Easy for York, the moors and the coast .

Pitch was a bit sloping

Park was lovely, well set out and we had plenty of space. Particularly loved the little dog walk plus the enclosed field, brilliant extra for us, fantastic site for dogs. Showers and toilets were really clean, lots of useful info in the reception area. Really pleasant owner upon arrival. Will definitely stay here again.

What makes this site extra special are the couple that run it Neil and Julie.. they dont just go that extra mile they genuinely take ther time to make sure you have everything you need with lots of practical help and advice . They maintain their site to a wonderful level . Toilets are sparkling. And the grounds are manicured.. The site has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and we look forward to staying with them again..

Very friendly hosts. Immaculately clean toilets and showers. Very tidy site.
Grass where we pitched our tents was well manicured and great for the kids to play on.

Beautiful site, clearly marked well maintained pitches and good facilities. Nice little dog walk round the site too. Ideally sited for bus stop. Toilets and showers immaculate and plenty of them. Recycling on site. Friendly and very helpful owners/staff. Small but thoughtfully stocked shop (we ran out of gas).

The camping site is peaceful, with lors of space, the accomodations are great and super clean… nothing to say !!

First 36 hours off our stay we had gusty winds as had damaged to our new tent.
I went to speak to the owners who kindly moved us to a sheltered pitch so we can set up our old tent very helpful.

Nothing to dislike accept from the strong gusty winds

Pretty much everything. Especially the large level pitches. We stayed for 4 nights and the place was about half full at the time. The toilets and showers were very nice and kept very clean. There was lots of hot water and the showers stayed on for a good amount of time per press of the button. The location was great for day trips to York and the North York moors. Also convenient to a nice shopping center (Monks Cross) which had ASDA, Sainsbury's , M&S, Nando's and several other places to eat. Also, close to some take aways in Stamford Bridge .. very convenient. Will be coming back.
