A marvelous place, funny to reach with the river crossing bonus and camping next to it. Just a special place that will remain in y memories.

Beautiful almost wild site. Only 4 pitches each with its own well presented fire pit. All pitches huge and well maintained. Every pitch next to the river. Beautiful walks from your tent door.
Immaculately clean composting toilet that the owners clean at least 3-4 times a day.
An honesty shop where you can get essentials you may have forgotten such as tick cards, water, firewood, kindling, smidge etc. We will be back

We loved it all. I honestly cannot think of any improvements.

The shop they have, river view, fire pits, river crossing vehicle, owners are nice, quiet.

The couple that run the site are brilliant hosts. Off grid camping at its very best.

Beautiful location , easy to reach but feels remote. Hosts were very accommodating and on had to drive us over the ford. As there’s very limited pitches it’s very quiet with lots of space to yourself.

The pitches have lots of space and are by the tree-lined river. The facilities are good. The owners are very helpful indeed.

Clean, quiet, peaceful and just wonderful. Excellent information from the site owners, everything was exactly as described.

What's not to like?

Really amazing campsite. Small and quiet, right next to the river. Toilets and showers were clean and the composting loos didn't smell at all. Owners very friendly and helpful.

This was a beautiful stay. I felt perfectly safe as a solo female traveler and communication was very easy- I just texted a time when I needed picked up to cross the river and they appeared.
The couple were so friendly and the grounds are very quiet- places to swim and walk are bountiful. It is also in a sheltered valley so the it wasn't very windy. Loved the fire pit and watching the stars come out at night.

The shower is made with board with some gaps in between and so it was cold getting out!
