Modest but warm and welcoming stay. Kids lived to have their own area to play with newly met friends and hanged out until very late. Pitches gave enough privacy even though all of them were full. Showers and toilets very clean, use of washing machine and dryer great, also fridges clean nice. Maria and Guy always there to assist in any way so very nice place to stay.

Excellent facilities:
Plenty of good showers and bathroom facilities. High standards.
Great grounds with separate playing field for games and another for dog walking.
The large barn with table tennis tables and football table games kept our 3 children endlessly occupied; whatever the weather. The free to use Go-Carts were also brilliant.
Fridges and freezers and device charging available at no additional cost.
Friendly and helpful hosts (their house onsite).
Good value camping when compared to other sites.

Lots of wasps about (August), perhaps beyond control of the site owners.

Slight shame for us that our tent pitch did not have view of the play areas, so difficult to watch our children closely without actually accompanying them.
Found it annoying at times that other campers or there children did not clear up properly behind them, found this disrespectful.

Slightly remote location, if you want to be near shops and services.

Amazing well managed and immaculate site - perfect for visiting surrounding beaches, villages, towns and attractions. Very well maintained, great play areas for our little boy. Good showers and facilities, never had to wait long to use anything. One of the best we've stayed at. Have you found that hare yet?!

The size of pitches, the facilities, the amount of space in general, the layout of the site, the friendly and accommodating owners and staff, the Friday night BBQ, the location, great for kids, the fire pits.

Nothing really, the only thing I would say which I think is unavoidable in this heat was the amount of wasps, we’re not that experienced campers so we may have been able to be better prepared too!

All aspects and amenities.. Toilets and shower blocks were immaculate and cleaned on a regular basis.

Having to go home..

Back from a 5 night stay at this wonderful campsite. This is our second trip here and it won't be our last. Nice flat pitches, wonderful amenities and great hosts. Fridge/freezers if you need them. Nice play area where the children meet up and make friends. We missed out on the BBQ, but will make sure we book for a Friday night next year.
It is a great base to explore Suffolk from and we visited some fab places including the Bressingham Steam museum and the Food Museum. Halesworth is a short drive away and great for grabbing bits and bobs.

The Croft is a fantastic campsite, and Maria and Guy were great hosts. The Croft is a great rural site to use as a base to explore the surrounding Suffolk coastline and countryside. We stayed there during the July heatwave, visiting nearby RSPB Minsmere and Southwold and even venturing into nearby Norfolk, before moving on to the Latitude festival site.

The campsite was very quiet at night and has nice flat level pitches. The campsite has several large barns which were great for keeping out of the sun/rain. The amenities were first class, exceptionally clean and well looked after, we will defiantly be back!

Nothing to dislike, a first class site.

I stayed with my friend and 5 kids for two nights at Croft Campsite. We loved it there, the pitch was flat, facilities were a short walk away. It's a perfect place if holidaying with kids, there's table tennis, playground, indoor playing area with some toys, the main attractions were the go-karts. Toilets and showers were always spotless and never had to wait. Friendly and helpful owners, what else would you want from a campsite? Highly recommended and will definitely visit again.
