Stayed here in my campervan at the weekend great basic site for someone who just needs a place to park very quite location toilets showers happily use again when in the area

Lovely campsite, incredibly friendly owner! I am local but brought some friends along from Wales and we were all blown away by the kind and friendly atmosphere from both the staff and fellow campers. We loved the eco friendly toilets and showers, which were cleaned every day that we stayed, compostable toilets and solar showers keep the fun element of staying close to nature while camping, but provided the comfort of a much needed warm shower after a dip in the sea which was only round the corner from this campsite! Fire pits and firewood were provided, as well as complimentary animal hugs! There are lots of rescue animals around the campsite, friendly cats which loved a cuddle and to sit on our laps, some beautiful horses and sheep, and even an alpaca! We had a great time, and talked the whole holiday about when we could return for another stay! We will definitely be coming back, and will be highly recommending this site to anyone we know!

The site was relaxed and Candy was very friendly and helpful.
I loved the eco vibe and the walkway with the pond and the chess board.
The facilities met all your basic needs. We are no frills travellers so we were very happy. Good location and nice walk down into Bude along the canal.
It was quiet at night and the other guests all seemed similar relaxed people.

I'm not looking to offend but this sites facilities are way below par in terms of quality and cleanliness compared to those I have used on my trip round cornwall. They really need a revamp and clean. I had a cold "solar heated" shower. Washing sink blocked and compost loos starting to reach the lid.

Site is also very steep with limited flatter pitches. 2 sets of chocks didn't get my van level!

Lovely campsite with plenty of space. There was free use of benches, solar lights and fire pits which was great. Lots of cute animals and scenery- and the host was very friendly and accommodating.

Wonderful little spot. My partner and our two dogs stayed in our newly converted camper. Perfect for it's first trip! Close to great surf spots.
