Absolutely nothing

I normally only do positive reviews. This is because I accept that site operators generally try hard and sometimes things just don’t click. However, I am simply astounded by the high reviews given to this site. It is horrendous. The site looks nothing like the photos. Pitches were cramped, consisted of mud and water pools (it had been raining but there was evidence that a lot were due to potholes and uneven pitches.) The buildings were tatty and there was an area that looked like it consisted of permanent residents. In places there was trash strewn about, scrap van left rotting, decrepit caravans everywhere and, generally a very unpleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, we paid in full before we got to see the site but were so unhappy we left immediately without trying for a refund. We found a fabulous site just 8 miles away so please do not book here. Pitchup may want to look into the reviews submitted for this place as it has clearly been in decline for years. Accurate and honest reviews are essential to the ongoing value of the website.

Nice flat pitches with big bushes between each giving some privacy. Good showers and toilets and a friendly service on arrival. Convenient when travelling down the west coast of France.

Absolutely lovely campsite, showers and toilets were clean and well stocked. Lovely pool and facilities to keep family occupied. Host was brilliant and looked after us, loved seeing the chickens roaming around. We ate at the restaurant which had plenty of choice and was cooked well. I would definitely recommend.

Nothing

Only stayed one night but it was fine. The showers and toilets were lovely and clean and the water hot. The staff on reception were nice and spoke quite good English and we ordered bread for the following morning which was absolutely delicious. Met all our needs.
