Not much apart from a short walk Bergerac. Very friendly reception staff.

Worst showers so far on our trip. Showers very tight hot water intermittent.

The campsites section for tents was in poor condition with holes dug by animals. There were 2 of the pitches that had long term campers with broken down vehicles and very untidy. Toilets were not clean.

As everyone says, fabulous location- can walk across bridge and in Bergerac.

I have used much better and cleaner toilets and showers at a festival. The pitches were all waterlogged, there was mud everywhere and the facilities were dirty with lukewarm water, no soap and many lightbulbs out so a shower in the evening was out of the question.
Ladies rugby teams also camping meant loud partying until early hours so wasn’t very restful.
I understand that the site is by the river and the trees cannot be cut but something needs to be done about the appalling surface of the pitches and the dated facilities.

Location - easy walk into centre Bergerac.

Facilities basic. Unisex without loo seats and paper - not my favourite. Shower was nice and hot though.

Peaceful site, right on the river - very lovely setting and an easy walk into Bergerac so wonderful in that sense. We only stayed one night on our way home. Campsite was functional - everything we needed was there - we always have an electric hook up for our tent. At the time campsite was mostly full of touring vans and cables overlapped somewhat, but that was fine. Reception was friendly and check in easy. They had a croissant, baguette ordering service for breakfast - lovely! My daughters liked the sink cubicles for changing clothes and skin care regime that were in every campsite we went to - had those here too. Not such a fan of mixed toilets, but was common in France. Plenty of shade, though weather had cooled a little by then, it would have be welcome on hot days.

My only reservation here was that the facilities somehow seemed more basic. I don't think they were necessarily, but compared to other campsites we went to, perhaps not as much lighting and a little less modern looking.

Der Platz ist ruhig, ganz nah an der Altstadt und sehr günstig. Außerdem ist alles unkompliziert auch wenn man spät abends ankommt.

Nous n' avons rien aimé de ce camping. Il a des installations désastreuses et il n'y a pas du tout de pelouse.

Lovely position by river. The couple running the site were very helpful. Facilities very tired but ckean. Bergerac is a beautiful old town to visit.
