Location at the lake, big places, trees

loud noices from garbage truck at 5am every day, music from bar in wekend days, no toillet paper

Great location. Plenty of shade for when it gets too warm on the beach. Toilets clean. Lots of cafes near by. Cafe bar on site nice for an afternoon drink looking out on the lake.

Small shop on site would have been nice. Long walk to ferries to get to other parts of the lake.

Camping Il Faro ligt aan een rustige kant van het Gardameer en is een fijne plek om even echt tot rust te komen.

De staanplaatsen waren verzorgd en het Gardameer was op wandelafstand, wat ideaal was voor een frisse duik of een ontspannen wandeling in de avond.

We waren minder enthousiast over de sluiting van het zwembad tussen 12:30 en 16:30. Zeker op warme dagen was dat jammer, al bood het Gardameer gelukkig een goed alternatief.

The shade from the trees were good. camp site was OK.

Loads of sound to late at night.
Dirty sanitary, no soap to wash hands, it was not refilled when we stayed there. Toilets was dirty, and seemed not to be cleaned regularly or checked if they needed cleaning.

Wir hatten einen rundum tollen Aufenthalt! Die Stellplätze sind großzügig geschnitten, sodass man genug Platz und Privatsphäre hat. Auch sehr saubere Sanitäranlagen, die jederzeit gepflegt waren – das macht den Aufenthalt gleich viel angenehmer.

Das Personal war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit, man fühlte sich sofort willkommen.

Ein echtes Highlight ist die perfekte Lage direkt am Gardasee – mit einer wunderschönen Promenade, ideal für Spaziergänge, Fahrradtouren oder einfach zum Entspannen mit Blick aufs Wasser.

Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder !

Ein kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag: In den Duschen fehlten Ablagemöglichkeiten für frische Kleidung oder Duschutensilien. Ein Regal oder eine kleine Bank wäre hier sehr hilfreich gewesen.

We were assigned a very poor tent site. It was at a crossroads, cramped, and I had no way to park my car, even though the site was supposed to accommodate both a tent and a car. The campsite had no grass—it was a filthy dirt floor. It was located near the restrooms and next to the RV sewage disposal area. In the evenings, there was noise from the restrooms, dishes were washing, and in the morning, the RV was flushing sewage. I cut my stay short after one night.
