Welcome, cleanliness of facilities, although dated and needed a 1 euro token, it was hot and lasted long enough for good shower and hair wash. Pitch was nice size right on the lake, with electric so was ideal for hubby for fishing and me and dog to spectate and be on hand for photos. It was peaceful and had good night's sleep. Nice walk through wooded area to other side of lake, be careful when wet as slippery in areas. Almost everything you need for a remote break although not to far away from shop and town but would need to drive, unless you have other means of transport. We would stay again as we did enjoy our stay.

Distance from pitch to facilities was a good walk away, not great when raining. Could do with one the other end of the lake.
Laundry area needs update, great price but dryer needs replacing.
Also check dates for annual fishing events, although we were informed and offered another pitch it was after our reservaton so we decided to change plans and cut our stay short by a couple of days.

Fantastic views hot showers, helpful staff and more importantly quiet at night very peaceful.

Peaceful campsite with pitches facing the fishing lake. Tranquil and relaxing. Our second visit and will be returning again. A great start to trip in France.

Ourselves and our frriends, having been delayed 1.5 hours getting off the ferry in Calais, made our way to Camping de la Valee with a minute or two to spare before 7pm and found a warm welcome from our reception. Beautiful site overlooking the lake, great facilities and far too short a stay. We will be back!!

View over the lake, central location to visit the area. Good supplies shop a couple of km to the north. Showers were hot, facilities ok.

After 24 hours on our pitch the one next door was taken by a large family group. Mainly Dads and kids, it was noisy but ok, then the Dads / Uncles got out the Jack Daniels and started playing music after 23:00 whilst some were night fishing. So we packed the caravan and drove out to the car park to get some sleep before heading off early for breakfast down the road. A bit unlucky on this site.

Tokens for the showers give you a set time and without warning would stop the water.
The function gazebo by the lake hosted events late into the night, spoiling the tranquil lake side pitches.

Didn’t realise we needed a token for the shower (we were aware it was a €1. So tried to put this in the box, unfortunately reception wasn’t open until 9am so make sure you get a token for shower when you check in)

The setting was lovely and peaceful just on the edge of the lake. We realised when we arrived that we had stayed here about 5 years ago. Very generous pitch with constant sunshine.

We had asked for a pitch near the toilet block which we did have , however it was still a long walk for me to the toilet and shower block. My husband had to take me in the car. Thought there was a general air of "tiredness" about the buildings

Stunning campsite with gorgeous lake and pitches. Only fishing on the lake. No swimming or activities.

Football, basketball and table tennis and can bike ride around the whole lake.

Journey to campsite is through many small villages and felt like maps was wrong however what a site when you arrive.

Friendly check in who spoke English.

Lots of mobile caravans who make the site very pretty with personal pots of flowers.

No bar or facilities so turn up with what you need. Showers need tokens which were given at check in.

Toliet and shower facilities. Very old and needs updating. 3 toliets and 2 showers. We got up early as didn't want to queue. Hot showers and clean. Just with a bit of TLC this campsite could be alot more.
