Location for Santander ferry back to UK

Scruffiness, unkempt look, access for twin axil very difficult. People pitched in haphazard fashion. Trees in the way making manoeuvres very difficult. Beach tiny and non existent when tide in. Shop expensive.

De camping ligt vlakbij het strand, vriendelijk bar personeel en lekker en goedkoop eten.

De camping heeft weinig sfeer, veel oude troep waar ze weinig aan lijken te doen.

Good pitches, showers and facilities. Buses into Bilbao. Nice cycle to Castro Urdiales. Good beaches.

Some noise from main road, but constant, not too intrusive.

The cleanliness of the site and all washing facilities.Friendly staff and nice restaurant with good choice of food.The location to the beach is fantastic just a few minutes walk.

super camp site .Wonderful views great beach.Weather a pleasant 22 deg and cycling roads perfect. as used by serious Tour de france athletes and me a 70 year old.
Food,breakfast and dinner brilliant and wine and beer very reasonable.We were probably the only tent on site for awhile and must say some of the camper vans were amazing,one had a garage and car inside!
security at night, toilets ,showe4r etc perfect. Will go back and so handy for Bilboa 30 mins from ferry.5 stars Great for surfing

Not a big deal but there is a derelict building on the headland overlooking the beautiful beach which was covered in graffiti such a pity and waste of resource A blot on otherwise lovely landscape.

Proximity to a beautiful beach - five minutes walk.
Clean facilities.
Friendly, helpful staff.
Fabulous views of mountains - saw some golden eagles soaring above.
Great cafe and bar which also serves excellent, very reasonably priced meals.
Buses to Castro Urdiales and Bilbao.
Excellent stopover for arriving or leaving via Santander or Bilbao by ferry.
We ended up staying five nights because we liked it!

Pitch was okay all grass reasonably flat staff not very friendly but okay? Would only stop over night if we went again . Dry hard to find
