There is a nice dog walk through fields and woodland, all within the site.
The bar area was relaxing and chilled with a good selection of beers.
No hesitation at all in revisiting on our next trip.No me gustó: –

Great pitches with choice of shade or sun and lots of hedges. Everything was clean and tidy. Management were really friendly. Visiting butcher had delicious kebabs. Pool was lovely. Site was peaceful. 30 mins from Brantôme, a town not to be missed!
No me gustó: We missed out on the highly recommended homemade pizzas as we left it too late to book

What an exceptional site and I just wish they were all like this. It is a beautiful, peaceful site with fantastic pitches and immaculate services but its uniqueness is down to the owners. Charlene and Julien are absolutely dedicated and make you feel so welcome without imposing on you. Their attention to detail is such a credit. The toilet/shower block is pristine and includes shower gel and boxes to put your clothes in. The bar/restaurant is in a beautiful stone building with lovely outside seating. Julian’s pizzas are delicious. The pool is delightful.
We toured France for 5 weeks and this is without doubt the best campsite we stayed on. Having such impressive owners makes such a difference and all other sites felt inferior because of it. We will definitely go back even if it means a detour.

Facilities were excellent and toilets/showers were kept immaculately clean. Our hosts Charlene and Julien were so kind helpful and didn’t stop working to make everyone’s holiday perfect! The bar & outside seating area was great and pizzas cooked by Julien were delicious!!

Thank you Lucy and Jon for your feedback. Indeed, with only 2 on the camping we are not able to open the bar before 6 PM outside of the summer period. In July/August we have a seasonal worker that allows us to be open from 12 PM until the last customer. We were pleased to have been helpful to you in setting up your work post in this idyllic setting. Looking forward to welcoming you again.
