The size of the pitches and the addition of a picnic bench.
Friendly and helpful owners
Toilets and showers were well looked after and the showers were powerful.
The on site shop had a nice selection of bits to choose from as well as plenty of firewood for the evening.
On the Friday and Saturday they had two different catering trucks which were very popular.
Only a 15-20minute walk to nearest village shop and a 5minute walk to the local pub which also served amazing food.

Separate field for big groups which are unavoidably noisy. My complaint about music blaring was treated with a bit of disgruntlement by management as though I was being unreasonable when the volume was excessive even for early evening. Avoid if you like peaceful Saturday evenings.

The facilities, the countryside and the fishing lakes. Peaceful and tranquil.

Nothing to dislike

Lovely site. Cannot comment too much as we only stayed for one afternoon/night as a stopover before travelling on. Site had everything we needed. Little shop with frozen meals from a local lady you can microwave (handy for us as we didn't want to fully unpack the van) and our daughter was made up with the on-site play area. Was very quiet at night.

Only observation was that I am not a fan of having shared towels in the toilets for drying hands. Paper towels would have been better. But in all fairness once I realised I just took my own with me!

Bell tent was amazingly furnished, very comfortable, loved the hot water bottles!

Shop facilities, cleanliness , free table football and air hockey.

The area is lovely, very quiet and beautiful. We loved the nature, the setup on our tent and absolutely loved the fairy lights inside the tent in the evening, very cosy and romantic. Our dog loved it too!

The only things, it was really slippery (material rubbing on another) when entering the tent. Apart from that everything was great!

Could do with water taps closer to pitch nearest 100 yds maybe something could be done in the future otherwise a great stay

Excellent, would highly recommend. I even ended up staying a few extra nights.
The pods are comfortable & more than adequate, I can also recommend the bell tents.
Brilliant fish & chip van (Fanny Fish & Chips), every Saturday.
Really enjoyable fishing, everything from roach & tench in Alders Lake up to speci catfish & carp lakes.
Very relaxed & scenic grounds, fire pits & bbq’s allowed, clean, up to date toilets inc disabled.
Good pub within walking distance (unless like me, you’re on crutches), but currently operating limited opening hours. Excellent Sunday roast.
