If you want peace and quiet and yet not too far from the wonderful beaches Devon has to offer then you can't go wrong with browns farm. Hosts are friendly and happily accommodated our requirement. We recommend guests view our website for directions to the site .Whilst this may be a little narrow at some points it is used daily by articulated lorries, agricultural equipment , refuse collection lorries and buses .Using sat nav can offer some less than suitable routes.

Simple facilities but clean and tidy, Owners were friendly and helpful
No children when we stayed, probably too quiet for them.
We will be staying again as only short distance from home.No me gustó: I wish we had been on the opposite side which got the evening sun but not a dislike, just a preference.

Great for overnight, close to M5 but also for a peaceful longer stop.

No me gustó: Only downside is there is nowhere to walk the dogs for a wee.
Thank you for taking the time to leaving a review. As a working farm we are unable to provide a dedicated dog walking area for reasons mentioned in the past and indeed do not advertise one. There are large grassy areas on site we just ask that guest do clear up after their pets. We are close to numerous footpaths and lanes with verges. For the energetic we are within walking distance to Woodbury Common an area of outstanding natural beauty. Local information is available on site and we are always happy to help if asked.
