Very close to a great pubNo me gustó: Pitches could do with being wider as it gets very muddy (can't be helped) and we couldn't get round the van without getting muddy shoes each time. Maybe a bit of new shingle required.
Nothing to fault. We had a lovely stay, despite the wintery weather

Warm cubicles with showers, toilet and sink which are big enough for a small family to use together. The washing up area, complete with washing up bowls and hot water was also great. There's a comprehensive farm shop next door and the pub food was fantastic

It was a select your own pitch arrangement and each pitch offered nice views across open fields. The warm, large toilet, sink and shower rooms were the best we have ever used plus there was so much room! Washing up area was clean and tidy. WiFi was excellent and available all over the site.
The adjacent farm shop stocked everything you could need, including papers, wine, beer and gas.
Over the road was the lovely Fox Inn. Friendly welcome, nice selection of drinks and serving good food.
Despite the poor weather we bought the small walking booklet and managed to enjoy a couple of nice walks around a beautiful part of Dorset.
We are returning later in the year it was that good!

Over all, a lovely family owned site and a must visit for the scenery and tranquil country life.No me gustó: –

No me gustó: Small hardstanding pitches. We are 7.5M and were overhanging. No disabled shower room. Very muddy due to heavy rain.
Thank you for your review and we are glad you liked the shop and the pub. As you see many people enjoy being able to visit in winter. We do write to everyone before arrival to warn them that the grass areas are muddy - a problem wherever you you at this time of the year.

So pleased you like our shower facilities. But we can only apologise that the wi-fi was not working. Unfortunately the wind had caused damage to the wiring. This has now been rectified.
Thank you for your nice review and being understanding with the mud. We have plans to widen the pitches just as soon as we get a dry spell of weather.
