No me gustó: Poor shower and toilets. Needed a good clean e.g. light fitting full of dead flies.
Busy and noisy road right by some pitches.
owners are friendly and helpful, food at the restaurant is amazing!

Hi, we are pleased you liked everything.
We don't have an actual on site convenience store as it just do not work for us, but we do have lots of kitchen door sales of burgers, bacon, sausages, steaks bread and baps. milk, eggs,cakes, brownies and pies and desserts, logs, charcoal. etc.
We do look forward to seeing you back here again one day.

The pitch boasts a beautiful view and has plenty of space for the children to play (with rope swings being a favourite attraction) as well as having a full menu throughout the day at the onsite café and bar.

No me gustó: Pitch on a slope, not a real dislike just some prior warning so wedges etc could have been taken to make tables etc level
Did not take trip to Bovey, family health issue :(

Good morning. Well what a different type of review.
You had confirmation from pitch up of your booking on the 26th June.
Now for your arrival date of 25th July you emailed here the night before at 8pm, 2 hours after we closed so no one picked it up asking to come early, so sorry but no to every one is the answer to that question.
Departure is by 12noon , checking in from 3pm. Grass cutting, lunch service in the tea room & of course cleaning and farming also has to fit in .etc etc..
Very sorry you did not to come at all.

Good morning , thank you for taking the time to review.
Very pleased you enjoyed the restaurant and company on your short visit here.
Hmm, yes we did have rain but as its summer time I didn't realise the ground was 'boggy'
Each pitch is approx 8m /25 ft in width and depth so hopefully 6 metre motor homes don't need to go back
tight to the hedge. It looks to me as if the council 'ditch' outside is also blocked. We will attempt to sort that issue. Luckily this is a working farm so tractors always available if anyone gets 'stuck' on site, quick word down here and Farmer Gerald will happily assist.
Toilet block , whats not to like ? I could do with further information please.
I /we bleach / clean the 8 toilets, two urinals and 4 showers daily, they are equipped with everything, including auto lights , shaving points , one has baby changing station.
FYI, if people leave the doors open the lights stay on and of course this attracts flies...sadly out of our control.

I am at a loss as to the comment of poor toilets and showers ?
All in good condition we have
8 toilets , 2 urinal, 4 showers all cleaned and topped up 3 times daily. starting at 6.30am with a good bleaching and seats polished! We have had some junior mischief makers on site this week that think its great fun to cause havoc in the cubicles with water and paper, but that's camping.
Light fittings with flies, well they get dismantled a few times per year but its not something that can be covered in the middle of summer season.When guests leave the doors open the lights stay on and insects are attracted, shutting the doors helps to prevent such things and saves wasting energy.I remove the cobwebs weekly.
Very sorry if road noise is a bother to a few but it is small and not numbered and only just wide enough for cars to pass, traffic on the whole is light.
