Friendliness of staff on site, quick walk to the loos. Everything was clean and neat. Secure site. Quiet campsite even with families on it. Lovely area.

The size of the pitches are fantastic. All of the staff were very helpful & friendly. It was great you could get a fire pit & logs(at a cost)& the fishing was good.

The shower/toilet facilities. They were very dirty. Some of this was the fault of other campers allowing children to go in unsupervised. We found poo in a shower & the toilets often were not flushed. But in one shower there was a flue exposed & it was thick with dust. There was cobwebs hanging & what looked like a mouldy section at the top of the wall.

Lovely site really friendly owners always helpful. Love the fishing lakes with the kids

Nice open site with generous hard and grass area. Very helpful and friendly staff. Good electric hookup and great water pressure. Excellent chemical toilet disposal point with hose. Nice walks around the pools and well stocked with carp if you like fishing. Dog friendly site. Good toilet, shower, and washing facilities. Handy shop on site stocks the basics and ice cream van visits daily. Calor gas available on site.

Not much in the way of pubs or shops nearby. You need a car or move your van/motorhome to get to these.
Most pitches slope so don’t forget your leveler

The camp site was lovely and clean had all amenities and staff are always welcoming and friendly. I love that it’s so central to everything in the Peak District there’s so much to do around the area within a short drive from the camp.

Very helpful staff and always doing there best to keep the site clean,tidy and up to date, the kids loved playing with others in the evening, we will look at booking again in the near future

Nice size campsite, easy access in and out with fob, good location in Derbyshire

We were told on arrival to bare with them as they need to redo the toilets/showers however that comment obviously didn’t help us whilst we were there, 2 showers and 4 toilets and 2 sinks in the ladies, no shelves to put items,no Floor drainage, black mould on seals and walls/ceiling, dusty cover on ceiling fan and no cover on the other, Only 1 toilet in men’s you generally will have to que for a number 2! 2 showers again not in clean condition black mould broken seats, worse than the women’s, it just smelt awful.
The tent pitches were variable some were great and others if your on the end like we were next to the gravel track you will be woken by people walking to the loo all night and if people leave the bathroom door open you will hear the hand dryer. Cars appeared to come and go late at night and early hours. A few days in the bins were full and wouldn’t shut and smelt wasps hung around them like crazy and it was days until they were emptied. The drinking water tap was constantly being peed up by dogs. I didn’t see the point in complaining as the staff could clearly see the situation

The site was nice and large with plenty of space for all. Loads of room for kids to play. Plenty of "grass with electric pitches". All pitches were a really good size. Good parking and close to a lot of local attractions. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Toilet and shower facilities verging on abysmal. Broken locks on WC doors. Water leaking onto the floor from showers and out through the door to outside. Gents toilet only 2 WC cubicles for a large number of people and one urinal all of which were not very clean. These facilities need a MEGA MAJOR overhaul because they are not suitable for the purpose.

Very welcoming staff, and the pitch size was great. The site is fairly quiet and campers were silent by 11pm. Great for stargazing, even saw a meteor fall. My teens loved the fishing, they caugh alot of fish in the little pond.

Showers (brilliant pressure and warmth) and toilets could do with updating.

Really friendly, clean throughout, great facilities and everything you need in the pitch. Large pitches, lovely grassland and great for children with playpark. Road nearby but didn't really notice it.

The only thing was the walk to the park and ride (1.7 miles) was 70% on the hard shoulder/grass verge, a little difficult for children.
