Site & staff amazing

The activities available were easy to book and reasonable price, inclusive and well organised. The staff were super happy and helpful. Functional toilet and showers with plenty of hot water. Site was well maintained and clean and tidy.

Beautiful setting. Escape pitches are very big and spacious. Lots of fun for kids. Staff helpful.

Shop in the camp a bit expensive and poorly stocked.

Great outdoor space which felt very natural

We stayed in the meadow it was a good size pitch the children enjoyed the play parks and traversing walls
Fire pits were nice to sit around in the evenings
We booked two activities climbing and archery for the children and they enjoyed themselves
The showers were hot and toilets clean
The use of a Fridge and freezer was a nice touch by reception

The openess of the campsite. The politness of staff. Having a shop and cafe on site. Even though we didn’t do the activities, we liked the idea that we could do them.

Would have like aome shade next to the tent.

Location

Soaking wet areas around the sinks so nothing hygienic to put toothbrushes or toiletry items on. Very big groups smoking weed and taking over the campfire - it was about 10 feet tall with sparks coming off it in the middle of a hot summer with obvious warnings about fires! No signal on phones to call a warden for help to stop this. Lots of big kids riding their bikes very fast around the grounds, almost knocking our little ones flying. These groups were far too noisy and many groups didn't abide by the quiet after curfew rule. Sadly not kept clean and too many large noisy groups. Ruined our previous love for this site.

Lovely site, with good amenities (cafe and shop really handy) and activities and really well placed for access to both Dorset and the New Forest. Lovely setting with the lake and woodland.

Limited toilets and sinks which got busy in the evening but didn't cause us a problem.

Everything seemed very dated. Our pitch had a tap on it which was handy apart from everyone else wanted to use it even though there were 2 other taps a few feet away. We kept telling everyone our dog didn’t like strangers and she was tied up at all times, but these stupid people kept walking through our pitch to get to this tap or take a short cut to the road!!!
Shame you can’t see much of the lake and walk all the way round to spectate. Most is covered by bushes. The other smaller lake is just full of plants and needs clearing.
