Wonderful spot. We camped right by the river and enjoyed easy access with paddleboards to a very safe stretch of water. A short walk up the site and the lock was interesting to sit and watch for an hour or so.

I like the no frills approach and was happy to take away all our waste and rubbish. Since we're local it was easy to do a run to the tip or home so the rubbish didn't stack up.

We'll definitely be back. Beautiful spot and very good value for money.

As we are local, we knew where to go to bin our rubbish, but I'm sure there are others from further afield who wouldn't. I suppose some signage about this wouldn't go amiss.

Yet again another amazing stay in Andrews field.Lots of space amazing views, perfect stay.This is now our perfect hidden gem

Loved the location next to R Avon. What a gorgeous spot. Lots of people there but all spaced out. Great views across fields. On a working farm. Easy access to water and black waste. Lovely walks but we used as a stop off from returning from tunnel and before heading to Northumberland. Lovely people. Great communication.
Access to water with paddle boards but we just chilled even though we had them.

Not a real issue but good to mention for some small single road just before site, not many passing points.

So close to the river and back to basics. Loved the space and view of the river. The whole experience is based on respect and honesty.

Very well kept and quiet place to stay. Lovely views and walk down by the river. Will definitely be staying again

Absolutely love this little gem on the river. Great for canoe or paddle board launch. Or just watching the boats go past.

Andrew’s field is just that - a field. It is exactly what you want if you like greener camping away from packed sites. You will need a porta potti as there aren’t any facilities other than a tap. There is a pub nearby that sells lovely food and it is great to sit in the field by the river bank. The site is very quiet and it is good that only well-behaved dogs on leads are able to stay, with many of the more aggressive breeds not accepted.
We stayed for one night with a Vdub camper and older children in a rooftop tent. There was loads of space, even the site was at capacity on Pitchup. It certainly was not full. This was a great benefit, because who likes packed sites! A great stay and we would certainly go again. Communication was great too.

We weren’t sure where to get the fire pit or logs, but that was a minor dislike.

Location was lovely, good value basic site.
