Traducir (A través del Traductor Google)Me gustó: Nice site, very new. It was close to the things we wanted to do. The out of hours staff was super friendly. It was a nice stop over for us, so we didn't explore everything on offer.
No me gustó: 1 - The newly installed showers need a re-think. The individual shower room is long, so I thought my towel, clothes and supplies were safe on the door and hooks. I WAS WRONG! The first spray of water blasted the door several feet away! I had to nakedly move everything I could outside.
2 - There were 20+ lovely pitches. WHY were the only 3 bookings right next to each other... namely my family was next to a group. It wasn't horrible, but it could be better. I go camping at odd times to GET AWAY from people.
3 - Activities ended before we arrived. We would have liked to do them.
4 - I booked at short notice and would have preferred a grass pitch with no electricity but that was not an option at the time of booking. I don't think pitchup as a booking tool is aligned with what is on offer at this site.

No me gustó: Lack of lighting - had to use the washrooms in complete darkness. No lighting walking up to or near the main toilet facilities. I have sent an email to complain and received an apology email within 24 hours but no offer of service recovery or discount due to lack of suitable facilities
Thank you for taking the time to review us. Apologies for the lighting issue you encountered during your stay. The campsite management team have been made aware of the issue and we are exploring options to tackle this. We do advise that all guests bring a torch as we are as large site with unlit areas. None the less we aim to have this issue resolved very soon. We hope to see you again.

No me gustó: Shame the cafe/bar and shop weren’t open - appreciate that it’s not cost effective to stay open all year but we visited during Easter Holidays and would have expected it to be open.

1 - This is good, we can fix this. Next time you come, hopefully you will notice the difference.
2 - Not sure why this would have been allocated like this? Maybe there were cancellations on the others. Definitely a note for the team though.
3 - Activities run this half from 9:15 - 5pm. During August there will be evening sessions.
4 - We are so sorry this happened, did you let the office know on arrival?
