Riverbend Caravan Park

The facilities were very nice, I’ve stayed at quite a lot camp sites and caravan sites and it’s probably the nicest and cleanest facilities I’ve seen. The owner was amazing, I was on my motorcycle and running late due to traffic and she called me to explain how to get to my pitch and to ride safe and not rush......very nice and courteous. Also said I didn’t have to rush off the next day as the pitch was free until 2pm. Great service and will definitely take my Caravan there.

Stayed at this lovely site for one night when testing out our new motorhome. We received a Really friendly welcome from the manager Angie who gave us lots of helpful tips for things to do and places to eat.
Site is in a lovely location next to a meandering mostly shallow river and it is really well maintained with lots of picnic benches for guests to use. The modern shower / wash / toilet block is exceptionally clean - you would be hard pressed to find better and cleaner facilities anywhere! It is clearly evident that the managers take immense pride in this site and the warmth of their welcome. We have no hesitation in recommending Riverbend and we will definitely return in the future. Thank you.

Friendly staff. Fantastic washroom facilities and very well looked after grounds.
The owners were lovely and were very proud of their site (and quite rightly too).
The toilet/washing block has 3 separate little bathrooms (toilet, sink and shower), then another separate shower and 3 more toilets and a couple of communal sinks.
So plenty of facilities for all, while we stayed there.
The location is great for exploring the local area and up into Snowdonia National Park. There is a shop, cafe and pub, all within 50 meters of the site, which is another bonus!

Not a biggie...but no separate onsite dog walking area, where dogs can be let off the lead.

The campsite is predominantly Static Caravans but, down by the river they have a few touring pitches and what a hidden gem, the facilities are excellent and immaculate.

The management team Angie and Lindsey were superbly friendly and accommodating and we enjoyed two nights at the site but we will be back soon.

It is a short walk to the Cann Post Office Hotel and we enjoyed a simple but tasty meal there and a few of their finest ales.

The only thing that I will say here is that although we fully appreciate and understand that an immaculate campsite needs work to keep it so, but for our two night stay, the work was being carried out right by our pitch for both days and, that really was quite upsetting.

It did not spoil our stay and we will absolutely be back, but only ask that the work be spread out over the site to prevent this. Sorry Angie!

Well kept and quiet. Excellent amenities. Good central base for touring.

Location......near a lovely pub & waterside views. 15-20 min drive to lake Vyrnwy which is magnificent.
Facilities were second to none.

Nothing for us but it’s not a place I’d take younger kids as most people are happily relaxing by their pitch. Didn’t see any kids other than ours , who is 14 so not really running around playing .

Immaculate toilet and shower facilities.
Helpful and friendly owners/staff.
Attractive setting, with the touring area slotted in well and not crowded by the park home aspect of the site.
Good location for an on route stop off if heading to Snowdonia National Park with plenty of lovely walks and countryside to explore locally.
