Liked Rustic campsite, in a remarkably quiet location so close to the M1. I stayed at the campsite for three nights. The bathroom facilities are a recent addition and very good. Everyone very friendly. The organic garden centre with lovely cafe is open every day, and Friday and Saturday evenings you can enjoy simple hot food and select an alcoholic drink from their wide selection of beers, lagers and wines, plus soft drinks. Nice pasties and cakes selection with coffee. Definitely will return.

Disliked Rough gravel track to access the camp fields.

Liked I was looking for somewhere quiet for an overnight stay and Bridge Inn Campsite was ideal for this. Only a few miles off the main roads, in a peaceful village location. The popular pub & restaurant has plenty of seating for diners; I recommend reserving a table and at least your main meal selection in advance. My meal at dinner was excellent and good value. The small bar has a wide selection of independent ciders and ales, with a good choice of wines. The (male) small washroom facility is basic but was heated (an excellent feature!), with good electric shower. Outside there is a wash-up basin with hot & cold water. These facilities are a short walk from the field over a style - bring a torch. The campsite field was very quiet as its away from the pub's car park. Early morning brought the sound from a cockerel and some moo-ing cattle - very rural. I look forward to returning when I want another quiet weekend.

Disliked The hill down the field to the level ground area for pitches could be tricky after wet weather depending on your vehicle (I was on an adventure-style motorcycle). Single shower/washroom for each male and female; not a problem if you are up early like me. There is no Vodafone coverage anywhere at the site, although you can obtain signal at the church just 150 metres away. Wi-Fi only worked inside the pub and some of the outside seating which was a nuisance (for me) as I didn't have Vodafone signal.
