Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked The location and the small size of the camping - fantastic.
Disliked The toilets are very cramped and there's just cold water for the dishes, which makes proper cleaning complicated.

Electric grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked The setting in the Eden Valley is amazing. There was no one there for check-in/out, so 0 stress about timings, the camping is small and intimate.

Electric grass pitch
Liked Wonderful green space, with all facilities close to pitches.
Disliked The bathrooms were dirty through more than half of our stay. This is also guests' fault, as many time toilets were not flushed.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked We liked everything. The vastness of the place, its wildness, the cleanliness of the toilets and bathroom, the niceness of the people.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Lovely space, amazing views, secluded, with everything needed close.
Disliked The main policy which is stated everywhere is that no groups are allowed, yet there was a group of 20+ men present there together. They weren't noisy, but I did caught one in the women's bathroom looking for one of his friends' jacket, showing absolutely no respect to boundaries and limits. Before we left the "Ladies" sign on the bathroom was ripped altogether.

From the manager: We are sorry that your experience was spoilt by the presence of this group. We are looking into changing our group policy and the wording. W e d o n o t a l l o w 'P a r t y G r o u p s'. Yet we do allow youth groups and faith groups We have never had any trouble with these groups as they are supervised by leaders and elders. They normally are onsite midweek as these visits are part of school curriculum. We have unisex showers and toilets in the bathroom cabin. There are single unit/tardis style toilets near by. Unfortunately we can not offer single sex showers but the shower cubicle units are spacious enough to have privacy and enough space to dry off in the enclosed cubicle. Plus they are hot and free! We decided to reserve the toilets for ladies in the shower cabin last weekend. We have decided to continue with this policy, We will make an effort to make sure the ladies sign is not taken down in the future. And we will continue to accept /duke of Edinburgh and supervised youth groups. We welcome walking groups, Cycling groups. And any group that does not want to party. The booking platform is great but can cause a few misunderstandings that go undetected. We try to improve at he first opportunity and take actions to correct these errors. Thanks Ed & Jane
