Liked Dog-friendly site with an adult-only area. Large pitches with hot tubs, such an amazing touch. Fabulous food in the bistro. Lovely staff. Gorgeous walk around the lake.

Disliked I would prefer a thicker fence or more planting between pitches. The bistro is quite expensive. The path to the coastal walk is overgrown.

Liked The site boasts an excellent layout and is welcoming to dogs, offering pleasant views. It is attached to a charming pub. While it may not have been our personal preference, we recognize that many would appreciate its family-friendly atmosphere, excellent play area, lively music, and sports broadcasts on large screens. It would certainly be an ideal spot for those who enjoy a festive environment.

Disliked We attempted to order takeout pizza from Charlie Bassett's pub on Friday evening, but were informed that the waiting time would exceed an hour. On Saturday, we tried to reserve a table for Sunday lunch, only to be told it was fully booked, which is understandable. However, we were also informed that pizza would be available until 6 p.m., so we planned to arrive earlier on Sunday since we missed out on Friday. Unfortunately, when we inquired about takeout pizza at 5 p.m. on Sunday, we were told that the chef had decided to discontinue service. We also had to request the code for the barrier, and were informed that it was included in our welcome text, which we found not to be the case.

Liked What a lovely and well-maintained site. It is consistently kept clean and tidy. Walter is always available if you require assistance and is very helpful.

Disliked There appears to be no toilet roll holder in the toilet. Additionally, being somewhat isolated has its advantages, though it can be less convenient when simply wanting to go for a walk.

Liked Peaceful site. Big pitches. Wonderful views. Lovely farm walk. Great to be able to view the animals. Excellent WiFi. Facilities spread across the site. Redlion pub close by.

Disliked Not close to anything (could also be seen as a like), we'll be returning but we'll have to bring the car. Mud! (But hey it is the countryside)

Liked The tree-lined, enclosed pitches offer ample privacy and the delightful sounds of birdsong. Prompt response to text messaged queries.

Disliked The gate is broken. The electric hookup is functional, but dirty and partially obscured by trees. The on-site cafe is actually a 10-minute walk away, through the Fisheries. There are many huts, buildings etc that appear to be abandoned. There is no visible staff. There is no country club.

Liked Clean well maintained site. Friendly reception and bar/restaurant staff. Amazing food.

Disliked No apple cider in the bar. (Local area needs a little tlc but obviously this is not the sites issue)
