Great campsite, owner very helpful and friendly, definitely stay again

Clean, tidy, good sized cabin, the walk to shared facilities was on a solid track so wasn't muddy at all, secure gate and owner gave great info when arrived

Cleanliness and organisation of the site.
Easy to access with simple and clear instructions.

There was puddles everywhere on the surface of stones

Good access , very clean toilet and shower facilities. Lovely warm showers .
For the fisherman a great fishing pond stocking carp, crucian carp, Tench, golden tench, Roach, Rudd, Barbel , Bream and perch. £5 per days fishing. Lots of help from the Park owner . There is a short dog walk around the campsite.
Good location for site seeing in the York area. Only 10 minutes from large shopping complex.

Nothing to dislike

Level pitches, good toilet/ shower block and covered washing up area, close to York park and ride services. Fishing on site if you want it ,the owner very welcoming and helpful advice on visiting local area. Currently building his house on site near completion so he will be available for any queries/ problems

The quiet site is perfectly situated just outside of york. Brilliant pond for fishing. Lovely clean toilet block.

Great park, well set out with plenty of room between pitches.
Pitch has nice soft grass for awning too.

Easy to find ,had a code to get in gate so secure and very clean all over the site. Toilets and shower block really clean and warm (underfloor heating) Owner really helpful , met us there when we arrived went through all info with me ,saw him later checked in on how we were doing(myself and 10 year old) then in morning popped over to say hello and make sure we had had a good night, was our first time camping on a site and felt really secure and safe. A lovely large fishing lake we had a wander around it all fenced off with a high opening lock so very secure if you have young children and plenty of space for kids to run around. Niece was really impressed when after tea an ice cream van came on site I think it made her night. Very peaceful , well spaced out and relaxing would highly recommend , especially if you love fishing.
