Liked: The beautiful view of the castle, the peaceful surroundings, really helpful and friendly owner, level pitch, comfortable accommodation with everything we needed to cook. Adequate amenities with hot water/shower. Added touches like the lighting in the tent and comfortable table, chairs and outdoor furniture to sit on inside tent and outdoors. The windbreak also came in handy!

Disliked: Very tight to manoeuvre van over waste drains (only a 6.3m panel van conversion, anything bigger would have struggled).

Liked: From the moment we arrived we received a warm welcome from Ian. He honestly couldn't do enough for people. We stayed in our own tent with electric hook up with a castle view, which was beautiful. Also did a spot of fishing in the lovely little pond which was very well stocked.

Owner was really friendly & helpful & couldn't do enough to help. Even changed our original pitch to a preferred one.
Lake is superb & fishing was great.
Good walk to cennon Castle which was really worth a visit.
Will definitely return.Disliked: No dish washing facilities at present but plans are currently in place for an overhaul on all the facilities.
