Disliked: The Kaos,tents anywhere and everywhere,cars parking on your pitch,the young kids running about until gone midnight making noise and the adults with them were just as loud. And no one came out to sort out the kaos,maybe that’s just the way it is?
This is a child friendly site,a let your child run riot site is more accurate.

Liked: Lovely spot. Staff from the pub were very welcoming and helpful. Ate in the pub for an evening meal and Sunday lunch. Very nice food and reasonably priced. Showers, toilets and site very clean.

Disliked: If the site was busy the toilet block would be too small. It's narrow to get in.

Good morning,
Thank you for your review, The weekend you were here we happened to have a junior girls football group stay the 1 night, they took up 6 sites and were allowed to put their tents anyway they wished as long as they did not encroach on neighbouring sites.
They were also told that there were other campers on the site and needed to be mindful of the noise and other people, which they quite clearly did not adhere to. I do apologise, but had we known we would have come and sorted this no matter the time.
There are emergency numbers to call all over the site if there are any problems and no one let us know that there was a problem.
We do not police the site as this is generally not needed as most of our guests are respectful and we do tell all campers that if there are any problems or anything they need please to let us know.
It would have just taken one phone call to have made your stay as pleasurable as it was supposed to have been.
I do apologise for the inconvenience.
There are also signs telling people to please not park on the grass, the only time we allow this is for loading and offloading tents and equipment or if the vehicle is on their site.
I hope this offers some explanation. Our site is normally very quiet and the only noise is the sheep and birds.
