Great views of the hills when walking to the toilet blocks (not from the top tent field).

Multiple water taps availableDisliked: Top tent field is a little close to the road, but there is barely any traffic at night so not a major problem.

Liked: I just needed a patch of grass with water and toilets for a couple of nights so wasnt looking for something special but found a little gem. The tent area has lovely soft grass with no rocks one inch below the surface as we regulararly find, so we had no trouble putting in the pegs and no bending. The grass area was spacious and lots of room between pitches so it was great for the kids running around. The wash/toilet block was very clean and very well presented. I've put this site on my list to use when I'm in the area.
Disliked: It's a shame people think the road passing the site is part of an F1 track. While it's lovely and quiet most of the time. Your suddenly woken at stupid o'clock by someone clearly going 100+ mph with a clearly illegal exhaust. Not the sites fault of corse, i do feel sorry that they have this problem and I'd like to hope they are in discussion with the local council about traffic calming, both my wife and myself was wondering what would happen if a car lost control and came through the bushes into the camp site. We decided next time we wouldn't pitch up on the road side of the field due to feeling a little paranoid.

Excellent shower block facilities with extra, smaller blocks near to our pitch.
Our pitch was secluded and private with trees around and the hook-up and tap were very convenient.

Liked: The shower facilities were kept clean and tidy they were modern and just what you needed after a long day. There was facilities such as fridge and freezer and washing machine. The wardens were helpful and polite! Great location near walking paths for snowdon.

Disliked: Bit of a walk to the toilet block… however the view on way is worth it over looking mountains
