Fantastic clean facilities. All staff were great and friendly, very easy to navigate. Bens bar was lovely and we got to watch the rugby final!!
Norfolk nibbles was a great addition we were not aware of, serving window next to reception or you could have it in the bar! We got large fish, chips and scampi the portions were huge and it was delicious! Quiet site though you do hear the cars from the bypass it didn’t bother us at all, and still woke up to the birds singing! We will definitely be coming back here!

What a lovely place , peaceful amazing private shower and toilet pods , good size pitches the bar was a great , only a short walk into the village which had a big coop which was great nice pubs and a fish and chip shop also a tea room in the village, good links from the village to catch buses which we used to get about on we also walked to Sandringham from the site it's a lovely walk through the woods it took us about 30 minutes the pathways are all good not messy easy to get to with the use of the maps provided from the campsite. Staff all very freindly.

We stayed on a pitch with the solar panel pods it would of been better with something better on the ground, our pitch got quite mucky luckily we did bring something to put on the ground put it didn't stop all of it , maybe gravel or wood decking.

The site was well maintained and clean and, although very near the main road, very quiet. Lovely walks (of varying lengths) nearby and a local shop within 20 minutes walk of the site (although I had to use my Maps app to find it as it took me along some footpaths and through a housing estate!). We walked to Snettisham Beach (about an hour away) and en route I spotted hares in the fields and the beach itself is an RSPB nature reserve with 100s of species of birds - lovely if you like wildlife.

The bar was nice and very welcoming of my dog, both inside and outside. The food we had on our first night was delicious and the local pub was a pleasant, 25 minute walk away. The on site shop had a reasonable selection of food and drink, and other essentials like toothbrushes and disposable razors.

Our pitch was a hardstanding with electric hook up and was a good size: plenty of room for the awning and a gazebo if we'd had one.

The shower rooms are all individual with a shower, sink and toilet which is nice - some of the sites I've stayed on previously have had a sort of communal shower and toilet block, so the privacy to have a shower in your own shower room is a luxury. Although I didn't use it, there's a laundry room and a warm dog shower which is a really nice touch if you return from a walk with a muddy or sandy dog.

    Disliked:

Not really a dislike, more of an observation but the reason I didn't award 5*.

For me, it's as much about the facilities for my dog as it is for me. The enclosed off lead exercise area for dogs is quite small - approximately 50m circumferance. The fence separating it from the park area was quite flimsy and about hip height for me (I'm 5'2") and out on to the main road I'd say just over 4' high. Fine for my dog who's only a medium sized boy, but if you have a large or giant dog (the couple opposite had a pair of Great Danes) or an escape artist, the fencing would have been inadequate to make sure your dog couldn't escape and the enclosed area backs on to the main A149 which is a busy, fast road. As I say, not really a problem for me and if it had been, I'd have kept my boy on his long line but I feel a little bit of work here could make a big difference.

I wasn't expecting the pub and shop not to be open on a Sunday evening (my fault - it does give the opening hours on the welcome information and hence my discovery of the local shop nearby!) but it strikes me you might be missing out: I'd have preferred to spend my £30 in the pub with you rather than in the local shop.
