Really nice clean site with amazing facilities. Definitely family friendly. There are good size of the tent pitches.

The only downside is that there is a cafe open for public, so as you can imagine over the bank holiday weekend it was absolutely packed and you cannot really enjoy the facilities freely or seat by the lake.

This was our second visit and we will be back again. Nice size pitch, Clean toilet/showers and a freindly welcome.

The grounds are well-kept, and there is there are plenty of things to do nearby and for children. It was great that there was a cafe and occasional food vans on-site. The facilities are modern and clean.

We felt like the site staff could have done more to remind other guests of the policies for keeping dogs under control and times for loud music finishing.
A warning for other non-electric tent pitchers - the ground is extremely uneven and very exposed if camping in bad weather!

Toilets/showers had a really bad smell around 11am which I trust is due to lots of use perhaps, however it would be good if this was investigated as it was quite strong smell.

Check in experience felt like an effort by the young lady behind the bar.

There is no Wi-Fi and whilst it’s not something we would have used, it is really handy for an emergency or to watch a sports match restfully

This was our second time here and once again it was faultless. We had an emergency at home on our arrival day so we didn't get there until around 8pm. I had spoken to Debbie during the day and she advised that we wouldn't have an issue whatever time we turned up. On arrival the warden had all of our details and kindly showed us to our pitch. Due to an oversite with booking from a website they were completely full so Debbie had arranged us to hook up in the Glamping section which only had 2 other vans. (Everyone loves a cheeky upgrade). Whilst we were setting up Ben (the boss man) came on his rounds and checked we were OK. We had friends on site already and asked if they could join us. Ben said it was fine, but check in the morning with Debbie to make sure there were no new arrivals. The next morning we spoke to her and our friends moved over straight away. We had an Great weekend and we have now decided this is our "Go to" place. Many thanks guys we will be back.

Very large and well organised campsite, clean facilities, lots of space for kids to play around, cafe/bar on the site, visiting pizza van, friendly and helpful staff
