Beautiful clean site with very helpful friendly staff. Water Park was good value for money as was the the price for staying. Definitely be returning.

The site was lovely

Showers were really dirty , nowhere to hang your clothes, also the showers are raised by about a foot so could be difficult to get out, especially if the floor outside is wet ,they could do with being a handle,

Great camping site, lovely pitch, clean facilities. Clean tidy well looked after.

Very generous pitches, easy access to the site and a short walk to the water sports centre. Manager was very approachable and helpful.

Nothing all was great

Clean site even when busy during half term. Only saw assistant manager but she was lovely and very helpful. Lots of things to do for kids in local area and site was reasonably quiet after 11pm. Site rules say to vacate pitches by 10am but you can pay an additional £6 and vacate by 2pm which takes the stress off when packing up with young kids. Despite size of site there are plenty of toilet and shower facilities so never any queues and washing up area was relatively clean. Site well kept. Play park on site was really small and maybe aimed at slighter older kids than mine (3 and 6months) and was always busy in the evenings. There’s also a great play park across the road in the country park.

I do feel the 10am vacate time is quite early especially with family (maybe doable for solo campers) but the option to pay the extra for a later check out alleviates this

Not much but leaving .

Firstly we checked in early and spoke with the laddie who runs the camp once we had set up she then charged us £6 for setting up early , If she would of mentioned the charge before letting us set up would of been fine with that but feel she played us for a extra money . The toilet block is disgusting and smells rotten and not cleaned regularly. The shop is over priced and thats if they ever open it .We had a running with one of the mums on site who stay there often as her son (Declan ) was throwing stones at us and passing cars but the mum thought this was ok .couldn’t find any security to speak to. Kids in park view were playing football which is fine but your cars are not safe from being hit by speeding balls .

Lovely site with so much to do nearby.
We stayed there for Nottingham Races Ladies Day as it was close to the race course.
The pitches were a reasonable size. Facilities were all ok and kept clean each day.
There was a small shop onsite which we didn't use but seemed well stocked and the staff were friendly.
Will be going back again soon to make full use of the water sports centre.

The weather

We came here camping with my partner and child. The campsite had rules which included no campfires, no anti social behaviour, no ball games, cycling etc around other tents. Any rules ignored would result in being removed from the campsite, However all these rules were ignored by fellow campers, we enquired about pitching my tent next to a family tent but was told we couldn’t because of health and safety although after pitching we noticed other campers had done this. The toilets were unclean and obviously not cleaned regularly due to the smell and stained flooring. There was children smoking and vaping around the park and other children fighting, children swearing and being abusive to others but were not removed from campsite even though this was stated in the rules prior to arrival. I didn’t see a single member of staff or security
