Friendly owner

Poor facilities in need of updating. To walk anywhere you need to go on a busy road.

We loved the peaceful location with great walks so close by, and a couple of pubs en route! The cafe at the site was lovely, food was spot on and we always had such a lovely greeting from the extremely helpful hosts! (Thanks for the lifts!)

Not really a dislike but the shower was on the small side!

Lots of hardstanding, not restricted on which direction we could park up, right next to electric hook up. Cafe was nice, and staff friendly

Odd. Just odd. Didnt really seem like a touring campsite at all, more a place for locals to meet up. Nothing at all to do on site for the kids, no info on walks etc.

Nice Small camp site very friendly staff and good food at cafe on site nice gardens with lots of flowers around toilets and showers clean

A bit of road noise potato trucks going up and down
The showers costing £1-50 was a bit expensive but we used our own in van

Quiet site, lots of space for children to run around and very safe.
Owner very friendly.
Watering hole cafe very nice.
Will definitely stay again next year.

Very relaxed site, no warden ‘patrols’. Lovely little cafe on site. 10 minute walk to an excellent ’upmarket’ pub/restaurant.
Next to a meadow with farm animals in, if you’re into that. Good location to go off walking.

Pretty close to an A road, quiet for us but could be busy/noisy depending on day of week maybe?

We didn't stay overnight as we needed to return early but stopped here for a few hours to empty and fill our motorhome. The owner was very friendly and the site had everything we needed.

Very nice campsite with a lovely welcome not really great for teen-agers as WiFi not good but in all very nice.

Enjoyed everything about midway holiday park just the peaceful rest I needed the park owners were such lovely people nothing was to much very relaxed and chilled holiday

Disliked nothing apart from having to come home
