Good clean site for families. Don’t bother if you have a dog03/18/2024

    Very clean site.

    Disliked:

Not really dog friendly at all. You are allowed to bring yr dog but they’re not allowed anywhere inside or at all on the beach which is just unbelievable. Another customer complained about this and they replied saying they want to keep all their customers happy. But they’re not keeping their dog owning customers happy just making them feel unwelcome.

From the manager...

Thank you for leaving your thoughts on your stay, we are pleased to read that you found our holiday park to be clean. Our policy on dogs features in the terms and conditions of booking which you would have received via email, and it is also accessible from our website. Although not permitted on the beach there are several recreational fields where dogs are welcome, and we do have a coastal path that runs through the park which is great for glorious dog walks with amazing views. Dogs are also welcome on the terrace of pebbles restaurant and the foyer of the leisure complex.

Kind regards
Aimee and the Ladram Bay team

Only gave accommodation 5* because we were in our own camper van.

    Disliked:

Hilly, so if you have trouble walking or in need of a stick this site is not for you as its hilly to walk up & down.
I know WIFI is not everything but there is no WIFI across the site, only get WIFI in the main restaurant or swimming pool area, along with no phone signal, so if you are looking to keep in touch back home or have an emergency situation then don't bother, because you cannot. You have to walk down to the front of the swimming pool to get any type of signal.
Also customer service is highly poor from the Ladram Bay Management team when required.

From the manager...

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we are of course disappointed to read that you could not find a single thing that you liked whilst staying with us, which is in total contrast to the previous two hundred reviews that we have received. As you have mentioned, we do offer complimentary WiFi throughout the complex, and we do have some network coverage depending on your provider.

Kind Regards
Aimee and the Ladram Bay team

no wifi - no phone signal - no t.v. signal - recycling around 400mts down very steep hill - so steep the staff had to use a backward facing tractor to take our unit up to the pitch also there was a dangerously steep access path to the level we were on pitch 130 - litter strewn around - brambles in nearly all of the planted areas - touring sites certainly need tidying up - the reception was way down the hill - there was no security at all to the touring section - anybody could have driven into these areas and no site staff would have known - especially at quiet times when people were out - seagulls plague this site - if you had food on a table or even in your hands seagulls would attack for the food - ever present all day long -

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review, it's also great to see the photos that you have uploaded of you all having fun.
We are sorry to read that you would not visit us again, I can assure you that we do have a security presence 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and our siting team work tirelessly to keep the pitches clean and tidy, I can only apologise that you did not find this to be the case.

Kind Regards

Says dog friendly but it's not. Dogs not allowed in restaurant, club house or beach. We therefore couldn't enjoy any of the facilities.
Also, we only found one pooh bin across the park.
We ate on the verander, food was cold within seconds due to having to eat outside and couldn't cut my pie, the pastry was so hard it could have been used as a weapon!

From the manager...

Thank you for your feedback, naturally we are disappointed by your review. I have passed your comments to the Restaurant Manager regarding your meal. We do ask that you bring up any concerns you have whilst with us so we can resolve any issues promptly.
We do everything possible to advertise our policy on dogs and it is clearly stated in all of our literature and on our website that unfortunately dogs are not allowed on the beach. There are two very local beaches that welcome dogs on sections that are within a short drive of the park. We do allow dogs on the decking of Pebbles Restaurant and we do have tables outside the Three Rocks Complex where you can also take your pet and enjoy a drink. We do have a dog walking field and plenty of lovely footpaths where your dogs can be off the lead in the area. As you can probably understand not all families enjoy dogs so we have exercised what we feel makes the most appealing environment for all guests.
Kind regards Lorraine and the Ladram Bay team.

Awful camp to get to, winding lanes, with pulins every so often. the camp is on a very steep hill, I found the longer we were there the more we struggled to walk up the path to the motorhome. beach is a hike easy to get down a struggle to get back up. the only positive was we hired a motor boat and went out on the sea for an hour.
Would I recommend this camp no!!!! would I go back no!!! if you are 70 and over not really the place for you

From the manager...

Thank you for leaving your review. Naturally we are disappointed to receive such feedback. We are set in a lovely location and we are blessed to have sea views from all our pitches due to being set on a hill. We do recommend calling us to ask about our specific pitch requests as if you do have difficulty walking you can fix a pitch on the lower section of the park. We are delighted that you found our Pebbles Restaurant very nice with good food. We do hope you change your mind and return to us. Kind regards Lorraine and the Ladram Bay team

Our park, located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, provides a peaceful and quiet break and sadly some network providers are unable to be reached in our location, free Wi-Fi is available in three rocks and the swimming complex for guests to use. We are sorry that you feel you won't visit us again and do hope that you change your mind. Kind regards Lorraine and the Ldram Bay team
