Hard to find a flat pitch...fields are on a steep slope.

Fantastic host, who cooked a cracking breakfast.
Perfectly good service block. Clean and everything worked really well.
Good phone signal on EE if that’s your thing (or have older children!).

Amazing views, clean facilities, fresh eggs available and breakfast baguettes.
Friendly and welcoming couple, overall a lovely place to camp.
We had an issue with our tent due to the high winds and the tent poles split meaning the tent was collapsing slowly every day. The owner saw other generous campers trying to help us salvage the situation and he told us if we couldn’t sleep then to stay in their lodge and which was really generous of him!

As it’s a very open site on a hill make sure you have a better tent than us that can take the wind! (Don’t buy a Trespass Torresdale)

A beautiful place, the view was stunning. We were lucky and had good weather.
The hosts were very friendly and helpful and made us welcome.
The toilets and showers were kept clean as possible and the use of the fridge and charging points in the yert are a great idea.
Saturday homemade pizza service was tasty and good quality.

There were quite a few campers and only two toilets and showers but not a problem as you just had to time when you wanted to use the facilities.
