Andrew was very welcoming and always made sure we were all OK. The toilets and showers were always clean. We had glorious weather all week so the kids were able to run around the campsite happily and play with friends.
Andrew is hoping to develop the site some more and I think it will be great! We would come again as it was lovely and sheltered from the winds; camping with a sea view is ideal but I can imagine that you would get blown away.... here it was so much more pleasant but still close enough for the sea and attractions to be accessible.

Other people stealing Andrew's washing up liquid/toilet paper/tent pegs! He tries so hard to be helpful and accommodating and this can be ruined by some of the campers!

Really nice campsite. Sheltered, quiet, peaceful, calm. Safe for the kids to mingle and explore. Short walk/cycle/drive from beautiful coastlines, beaches and villages. Basic but functional and clean facilities. Andrew is a really nice guy: always checking on guests and available for recommendations, queries, requests. He has plans to improve and develop the campsite in the future and we look forward to returning to see how it goes.

-2 great tents- 1 for relaxing, sleeping feeling cosy, and the other for cooking, cleaning and eating together.
-Everything was included, meaning EVERYTHING. (Except food, which was definitely not expected!)
-The site manager was really friendly, attentive and welcoming.
-The shower was hot and more powerful than our shower at home!
-An industrial size dustpan and brush, which I'm definitely going to buy for myself!

Clean facilities, sheltered site away from coastal winds, hot water, friendly host

Hard, stony ground (we camped in the small area by the lake) which made it hard to bang in tent pegs fully

We love the little touches as the great pillows, duvets, cushions, fairy lights and the outside shower with warm water! The extra firewood was also great!

We would have liked electricity, we did not realised there was not. We also felt a bit uncomfortable when other campers used our facilities. Not enough cutlery for four people.

The owner was really friendly and helpful 🙂 it was great being able to hire the fire pits and the walk around the ponds was beautiful 😍the abandoned boats made it look fab.toilets and shower was lovely and clean.

Pitch was a little lumpy and stony in places.

The relaxed atmosphere, the tranquil setting and the very friendly and attentive hosts. Andrew could not have done more for us and was a happy and positive addition to our holiday that we would not have had if at a more commercial setting. The facilities are basic but clean and always well stocked. The showers were amazing, hot and powerful. We had a lovely holiday, would definitely recommend and would visit again :-)
